The first She Rises gathering
Two dozen women came together for our first community gathering, and the clothing drive that came with it collected more than sixty pieces — with women's clothing donated onward to a local shelter.
Sons & Daughters Foundation brings people, resources, and community partners together to help children and families move forward with dignity, confidence, and opportunity.

Sons & Daughters Foundation exists so that children, young people, and families never have to navigate difficult seasons alone. We build practical pathways of support through community partnerships, direct assistance, mentorship, education, and opportunities that help people rise.
Every person we serve is met with respect. Support is offered alongside people, never over them.
Lasting change is local. We connect neighbors, organizations, and businesses who care about the same kids.
Practical resources open real doors: school supplies today, mentorship and education over time.
Every dollar and donated item is treated as a trust, with transparency built into how we operate.
SDF is built as an umbrella organization: each program serves a specific community with focus and care, while the foundation provides the governance and stewardship behind all of them.
She Rises Collective, our first active program, creates spaces of support, encouragement, and opportunity for girls and young women — and is leading the back-to-school drive right now. Programs in mentorship, scholarships, and family support are being explored for the seasons ahead.
Give once or monthly. Every gift is tax-deductible and stays local, supporting youth and families in Ventura County.
02 VolunteerSort supplies, pack backpacks, help on event day, or lend a professional skill. An hour makes a difference.
03 SponsorBusinesses and organizations can sponsor a campaign or event and stand visibly with local kids.
04 PartnerSchools, agencies, and community groups: let's coordinate so support reaches the young people who need it.
